Whether its pay per click or cost per click it doesn’t really matter - it costs you money.  You need to make your online campaign one that will pay off and a good way to start is to have a solid landing page.  If this term sounds new to you take a deep breath, you are not alone.

A landing page is the page that the visitor sees once they click on your ad.  Typically companies will have their ads link to their home page, this is like throwing money to the wind.  What you want to do is to drive traffic to the particular product or services; they are clicking on your ad because (if you ad is done correctly) it has something that interests them.  So give them what they want right away rather than have them search for it.

Your landing page should have some key elements to it like more information about the product or service that was on the ad, contact or ordering information and of course navigation - whether it be links to your web site or a sort of mini site that you create.  There is much more to this than what I am mentioning - but if I told you everything at once why would you come back?

Creating a landing page will be a big step in the right direction for converting searchers to buyers.
