EXPERIENCED WEB DESIGNER

J Maze Design is looking for an experienced web designer with a passion to create compelling and useful designs that impact the complete user experience. As a web designer you will be responsible for creating web sites from beginning to end - design ideas and goals, creating designs based on client wishes but also adding your own creativity and input. Other responsibilities include (on occasion) creating in house marketing materials such as magazine advertisements, brochures, and more. Print experience is helpful but not necessary - this is a web design position - if you prefer print design this position is not for you. Time management and attention to detail for this position is essential to your success. This position is part time but could be full time for the right person. Flexible hours are available.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• MUST be detail oriented
• Minimum of 1 year office experience is required
• MUST have top notch time management skills
• Be able to work independently with little supervision or direction
• Experience with the following programs are required: Dreamweaver, Photoshop or preferably Fireworks, MS office
• Experience with CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Flash and Illustrator a big plus
• Must be able to communicate clearly
• Must be customer oriented and know how to talk to clients in a professional manner

EXPERIENCED WEB PROGRAMMER

With over 10 years in business, J Maze Design is an interactive company with a casual work environment. We are currently seeking an Experienced Web Programmer. The Experienced Web Programmer will utilize a number of languages for our interactive web sites, creating web sites for smart phones, apps as well as ecommerce. This is a great opportunity to work with a fun company that also likes to push the limit of technology!

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop applications utilizing object-oriented PHP 5
• Analyze and optimize PHP procedural-style code base of existing applications
• Adhere to defined standards for documentation and coding styles
• Work with a growing and agile team of developers in a team environment
  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

What is required for this position - 2+ years experience working with:

• Thorough understanding of MySQL and PHP integration on both legacy code and new projects.
• PHP, HTML and Javascript, XML, SOAP, AJAX, JQUERY
• Relational databases
• Business Intelligence Tools knowledge (a plus)
• Collaborate with other team members to build and implement new products
• 2+ years of full-time professional PHP programming experience on enterprise-level applications
• Strong object-oriented analysis and design background
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Unix Console Commands (a must)
• Strong logic, analytical, and organizational skills

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

J Maze Design is looking for a professional that has a sense of humor and loves the snow sport industry! Can you chillax? Do you want to work within a fast paced fun industry? Is your sales technique gnarly? If so we want to talk to you! This is not your everyday business development position - the snow sports industry is fast and furious - like to ski or snow board? EVEN BETTER! Sales calls on the slopes... ok! You would be selling our Ski PRISM software developed specifically for the snow sports industry.

The Business Development Professional is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential clients of J Maze Design and our various products. This position will work directly in our vertical market segment utilizing their business savvyness and our products to provide the right solution to their clients. You will be responsible for selling our Ski PRISM software to mountain resorts across the country. Other duties include utilizing social media, blogs, tradeshows, and other avenues to get out in front of as many professionals as possible. Occasional travel may be required on a as needed basis.

This position will be responsible for:

• Communications via Social Media, blogs, email marketing campaigns
• Cold calling into targeted accounts across the country
• Creating and following a sales management plan.
• Performing sales presentations to clients.
• Writing proposals, responding to RFPs & RFIs.
• Community involvement.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years inside/outside sales experience in the software/technical/web/marketing industry.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and organized with proven lead generation and prospecting skills.
• Proven record of creating new business leads and thoroughly understanding the sales process of marketing, cold calling, community involvement, prospecting, qualifying, presenting, closing and servicing.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal and solution selling skills.
• Proven ability to sell and qualify over the phone, and in face-to-face opportunities – including closing opportunities.
• Develop strategy and tactics for managing specific business sectors/territories and associated sales revenue in the territory.
• Knowledge of web services, development environments and/or interactive technologies.
